We worked with Ancestry initially on a large scale usability and conversion project. Their route to purchase for births, deaths and marriage certificates was only converting around 5% of all traffic from the search/purchase cycle on www.ancestry.co.uk.
We used a combination of wireframing and prototyping to prove the process and then implemented the final versions in a split A/B test to refine the process further.
This resulted in a 38% conversion rate, up a massive 33%, upon go live of the project.
We continued to work with Ancestry on a variety of projects large and small supporting their eCommerce infrastructure. Everything from marketing landing pages through to eCommerce usability and analysis.
