A truly bespoke ticketing and event management solution that is now in it’s 4th year of development. Working with Magentastar has been a pleasure and we’ve worked hard at developing a fruitful working relationship.
As always we never prescribe a solution that fits our goals or internal budgets, we always weigh up the pros and cons of all approaches and recommend the best solution to fit the business.
With this project the challenge was managing expectations and delivering a considered solution rather than pushing the envelope and trying to build all singing all dancing solutions before it got it’s feet wet.
Working with the Magentastar team we embarked on an iterative and phased approach to develop with each subsequent year providing further functionality and options to develop the product further.

Now on the 4th year of development we manage, maintain and develop a full cycle eCommerce booking, event management and ticketing system that’s used to power their Santas Grotto offerings over the xmas period in shopping centres and venues up and down the land.
Chances are if you’re visiting a Santas Grotto this season you’ll be using our engine to book your ticket
The problem was their old site just didn’t really show off any of this and was hiding away the good stuff behind an inaccessible site
